well, this just in. eric trump, donald trump's son, appears to have violated election law by taking a picture of his ballot in new york, this is all accor this is a picture of the tweet. you can see the picture of the ballot itself, i know the caption is a little bit cut off. it says, it's an incredible honor to vote for my father. he will do such a great job for the usa. this tweet has been deleted because new york is one of the state that is prohibits taking pictures in polling stations, sharing completed ballots and taking ballot selfies. >> have to join justin timberlake. we do have a special election edition of dirty

i'm curious what are some of the states you're going to be paying attention to early on as the results come in? >> reporter: well, as the night wears on obviously one of the states we'll be paying a lot of attention to is nevada, but early in the evening florida is the state that will have our most focus attention, and that's because first of of course it's a very big state, but secondly it is tied as we go into election day and all of the public opinion it is dead even, and so we are going to just take a look and see how it does come out, if we know how it comes out tonight and if donald trump wins there it means he's got a pass ahead to victory. if he loses there it becomes problematic for him. >> this race certainly has gotten really nasty at times. trump saying the election system is rigged. we had the fbi making public

e-mails. perhaps some lasting damage here done by this election? >> reporter: it has been an incredibly divisive election in all kinds of ways, and what we're seeing is tremendous divisions among various groups of people in this society. as we go into today our abc tracking polls are showing huge differences between men and women, between old people young people, between whites and non-whites, between college educated and non-college educated, rural and urban, and the biggest of all, white evangelical christians are 97 points removed from the views of people who don't identify with a religion, so it is a country that is really rivetted apart in all kinds of ways, and it's going to take a tremendous amount of leadership to bring it back together.

record-numbers here of early voters. are we going to have record turnout voters or the same amount of voters deciding to vote earlier? >> it's hard to know because the early vote including yours are so much bigger than they have been in past years that we don't know exactly what that means, whether that's a substitute for election-day voting or in addition to election-day voting. election day voting and these states, florida again, take a look at, election day voting in florida tends to be republican, slightly republican, so if what we have seen is a lot of early voting that's more democratic, and today turns out to be more republican, that could tilt florida one way or the other. >> all right, final question for
